The idea by the fact that the methods of simplification of launch of the diesel existing today in the conditions of low temperatures of air don’t meet modern requirements of conducting combat operations is proved. From our point of view, use of the microwave oven of heating of fuel and a thermal pipe for heating of engine oil will allow to provide reliable launch of the diesel in the conditions of low temperatures.
