Основной государственной целью в области обеспечения безопасности дорожного движения является сокращение числа погибших в ДТП и стремление к нулевой смертности к 2030 г. Одним из вариантов ее достижения является предупреждение ДТП с особо тяжкими последствиями. Основой эффективной системы их предупреждения является анализ основных факторов возникновения таких ДТП. Обзор научной литературы показывает недостаток знаний в этой области.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Исследование выполнено на основе выборки ДТП с особо тяжкими последствиями, которые были зафиксированы на территории Сибирского федерального округа в период с 2017 по 2020 г. Анализировались следующие параметры: количество погибших и пострадавших, вид ДТП, период суток, день недели, месяц года, состояние погоды и проезжей части. Исследование основано на многомерном частотном распределении. Расчеты и графики выполнены с помощью MS Excel и Statistica.</p></sec><sec><title>Выводы</title><p>Выводы. Результаты представлены графически, в виде двух- и трехмерных гистограмм, а также с помощью таблиц сопряженности. Анализ структуры аварийности с особо тяжкими последствиями позволил выделить две группы ДТП, различающихся между собой по количеству раненых и погибших. Определена роль анализируемых факторов в рамках аварий с особо тяжкими последствиями.</p></sec><sec><title>Практическое значение</title><p>Практическое значение. Новые знания о влиянии выделенных факторов на частоту возникновения ДТП с особо тяжкими последствиями позволят ответственным службам более эффективно планировать мероприятия по предупреждению таких аварий, а также реагировать на них, предупреждая тем самым увеличение числа летальных исходов.</p></sec><sec><title>Оригинальность</title><p>Оригинальность. В исследовании впервые определены и обоснованы две группы ДТП с особо тяжкими последствиями, выявлено, что ряд факторов оказывает различное влияние на распределение аварий этих групп. Также получены новые знания относительно факторов возникновения ДТП с особо тяжкими последствиями.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction. Reducing the number of road traffic fatalities and aiming for zero deaths by 2030 is a key road safety government goal. The prevention of especially serious road accidents is one of the elements of achieving this goal. Analysis of the main factors contributing to the especially serious road accidents occurrence is the basis of an effective system for their prevention. A review of the scientific literature reveals a lack of knowledge in this area.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The study was performed on the basis of especially serious road accidents sample. The accidents that occurred in the regions of the Siberian Federal District in the period from 2017 to 2020 were analyzed. The following parameters were analyzed: the number of dead and injured, the type of accident, the period of the day, the day of the week, the month of the year, the weather conditions and the condition of roadway. The study is based on a multidimensional frequency distribution. The calculations and graphs were made using MS Excel and Statistica.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The results are presented using 2D and 3D histograms and cross tables. An analysis of the especially serious road accidents structure made it possible to distinguish two groups of accidents that differ in the number of the injured and dead. The influence of the analysed factors contributing to the especially serious road accidents occurrence is determined.</p></sec><sec><title>Practical importance</title><p>Practical importance. Knowledge of the factors influence on the frequency of especially serious road accidents occurrence will allow public services to effectively plan measures to prevent such accidents and respond to them. This will reduce the number of road accidents deaths.</p></sec><sec><title>Originality</title><p>Originality. Two groups of road accidents with especially serious consequences are identified and substantiated. It was found that the factors have different effects on the distribution of accidents in these groups.
